IAAPI Chairman at Regional Tourism Conclave, Gwalior
Gwalior, August 30, 2025 – The Regional Tourism Conclave in Gwalior turned into a landmark gathering with the presence of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, and Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Hon’ble Speaker, Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, alongside senior policymakers, investors, and tourism leaders.
The conclave witnessed active participation from the Indian Association of Amusement Parks & Industries (IAAPI), with its Chairman Mr. Ankur Maheshwary attending as Guest of Honour and addressing the audience.
In his address, Mr. Maheshwary emphasized how amusement is an integral part of tourism, offering a unique dimension that complements heritage, cultural, and religious attractions. “While cultural and spiritual tourism draws global admiration, amusement adds the missing flavor that excites youngsters and families who seek immersive, interactive experiences,” he said.
He further highlighted how modern amusement offerings, through interactive and immersive experiences, not only enhance visitor satisfaction but also build strong recall value for a destination, ensuring repeat tourism and stronger economic impact.
With Madhya Pradesh showcasing ambitious plans for its tourism sector, Mr. Maheshwary assured that IAAPI stands ready to collaborate with the government to weave amusement and attractions into the state’s evolving tourism map. He also expressed pride in representing IAAPI at such a significant platform in his own city, Gwalior.
